Consultations

The first therapy session lasts for up to one and a half hours. Subsequent therapy sessions last for approximately one hour.

Fees and payment

We will only undertake a course of therapy with you if we consider that it is likely to achieve your therapeutic goals. By undertaking a course of therapy with us you accept that we cannot guarantee the therapeutic outcome and that our fees are payable in consideration of our time and expertise regardless of the therapeutic outcome.

We will discuss and agree our fees with you before accepting your booking. By booking an appointment you confirm that you have been made aware of and accept the fees that will be due.

We only accept payment in cash or by credit or debit card. We cannot accept cheques.

On booking your appointment we require you to register your credit or debit card details with us. By so doing you irrevocably authorise us to debit the session fee to your card at the end of the session (unless payment is made by an alternative acceptable method), or in the event of cancellation at less than forty eight hours notice.

We do not offer discounts or concessions.

Cancellations

Notice of cancellation must be given by letter, telephone, or email to reach us at least forty eight hours before the appointment.

If less than forty eight hours notice is given the session fee is payable in full and will be debited from the credit or debit card you have registered with us. It is your responsibility to ensure that notice reaches us in good time and postal delays or lost emails will not be accepted as valid grounds for failing to give the required notice.

We reserve the right to cancel an appointment at our sole discretion. We will only do so in the most exceptional circumstances and will give as much notice as possible. We accept no liability whatsoever for any financial or other consequences of the cancellation.

Arriving late for an appointment

If you are running late please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to make a full session available but as our ability to do so will depend upon bookings subsequent to your appointment we cannot guarantee to do so.

If your session has to be curtailed due to your late arrival the session fee remains payable in full.

If we are unavoidably delayed we will let you know as soon as possible. We will offer you an alternative appointment at the earliest available date and time but accept no liability whatsoever for any financial or other consequences of the delay.

Confidentiality

When booking your first appointment we will ask you to give your home address and the preferred method by which we may contact you.

We are bound by the ethical code of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and will maintain your personal data in the strictest confidentiality. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party unless required to do so by law.

The information you provide during the course of your treatment will be held in the same strict confidentiality unless you instruct us in writing to share it with your GP or other healthcare professional.
